Why Therapy?

Research has shown time and again that one of the most important factors of whether therapy is helpful is not the type or modality, not the frequency or duration, but the quality of the relationship.  I take this to heart and while constantly evolving and increasing my awareness and training is imperative, most important is the space two people create together in a therapeutic relationship.  Most of us have few places we can go and be wholeheartedly supported judgement free; where we can unwind, explore, let out what we have been holding in or hiding away, and allow ourselves to be nurtured.  A therapeutic relationship is that, one where trust and safety can be built and where an inner journey of resolution, growth, and transformation can commence.  This space is a gift one gives themselves, and you deserve it.
